Last updated October 13, 2026

Paper Dragon Post writes and mails custom story letters for kids. To do that, we need some information about your family. This page explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it.

What we collect

We only collect information from parents and guardians. Kids can use their Apprentice Quarters page for puzzles and badges, but it never asks them for personal information. Puzzle answers and badges stay in your own browser. The only thing sent to us is the weekly story choice, together with the first name you already gave us.

How we use it

Only to write, print, and mail your letters, and to email you about your order. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising. We never put your home address or your child's school into a story.

Who else sees it

How long we keep it

We keep your story details while your season is running and for 12 months after, so a second season can pick up where the first left off. After that, we delete the story details. Order records needed for taxes are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you or your child at any time. Email and it will be handled within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email current customers before it takes effect.
